    Captain Grigorios Tsomakas
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Captain Grigorios was born in 1985. He graduated from the National Marine Academy of Kimi and holds a Captain Class A diploma. Captain Grigorios joined the luxury yachting industry in 2009 with experience both on private and charter yachts, his previous yachts include Martina (Falcon 31m), Illusion (Baglietto 43m), Oceane II (CRN 30m), PLG (Azimut 35m) and Dauntless (KMV 37m). His passion for travelling and for the sea, weather prediction as well as knowledge of many unique places and destinations are a great asset! Additionally, his professionalism, great attention to detail, problem-solving, management & team leadership skills make Grigorios an excellent Captain ensuring a safe charter for all guests onboard. He speaks fluent English and Greek and during his free time he enjoys scuba diving, fishing, and water sports. It is his 1st year onboard Alexia AV and he is positive and enthusiastic for a successful upcoming season!

    Chief Engineer Dimitris Kritikos
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Chief Engineer Dimitris completed his education at the Hellenic Ministry of Mercantile Marine and has been working onboard cargo and tanker vessels since 2013, after completing his Navy duties as a Marine Engineer. He also holds numerous certificates including RO/RO – Passenger V2/V2, ship security officer (SSO), First aid, Firefighting and Life Saving Certificate. He started his career as a 3rd engineer on oil tankers advancing to Chief Engineer onboard luxury yachts, where he plans to remain. Dimitris is a versatile and accomplished engineering professional with years of expertise managing marine operations and most importantly, exhibits a strong and firm approach to sustaining and encouraging a safe work environment. He speaks English and Greek and enjoys outdoor activities during his free time.

    Chef Vangelis Papanikas
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Chef Vangelis graduated from Queen Margaret University of Edinburgh with a BA in Culinary Arts & Food Service. He has an extensive knowledge of Mediterranean and global cuisine and has been working in between Athens & Paris at 5-star restaurants building extensive knowledge and experience. Vangelis is very professional, enthusiastic, and a well experienced and innovative Chef and always succeeds in making far-sighted, conscientious, and well-considered decisions collaborating with the team. Reliable, loyal, and trustworthy, Vangelis’s creative nature inspires him to constantly learn new things. During his free time, he enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and creating savoury delicacies. Additionally, he is an avid photographer & sailor.

    Chief Stewardess Kalliopi Chalastra
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Kalliopi has been actively working for the last 20 years in five-star hotels and top-notch restaurants, before shifting to the luxury yachting industry in 2014. She has gained extensive experience, building her communication and hospitality skills. Kalliopi graduated in 2012 from the Democritus University of Thrace, specializing in ‘Classical Greek & Latin Literature,’ but her love for the sea, people, and travelling brought her onboard. It is her third year onboard Alexia AV and she looks forward to creating an unforgettable time for her guests. Kalliopi’s cheerful and friendly personality have made her an asset to the team, plus her dedication and ambition which are exhibited in her hard work. She is trained in Silver-Service and Etiquette always making sure her guests are well taken care of. In her free time, Kalliopi enjoys sailing, scuba diving, climbing, reading and writing. She speaks English fluently.

    Stewardess Konstantina Mitsika
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Konstantina is a new member of the team, with excellent organizational skills and a determined personality. Her strong will and friendly nature make her a great asset to the team, and she looks forward to building experience always prepared to do her utmost for her guests! Anastasia will go the extra mile to ensure a calm and relaxing cruise for all. In her free time, she enjoys swimming and travelling.

    Boatswain George Vrentzos
    Nationality: Hellenic

    George commenced his career at sea in 1996 onboard private luxury yachts gaining experience and knowledge. He is a hardworking and very dedicated member of the crew, an asset to the team who is always ready to assist! George speaks English and Greek and in his free time enjoys fishing, swimming, and bicycling. It is his 4th year onboard Alexia AV!
