    Captain Athanasios Vourvopoulos
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Captain Thanasis was born on July 13, 1978. He is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Captains First Class Diploma. He also holds certificates in SSO (Ship security officer), GMDSS, Arpa, Radar, Ecdis, Brm, Firefighting and First aid/Medical care on board. Captain Thanasis has 21 years of experience in the yachting industry; of which he has spent 13 years as a captain on high specification motor commercial yachts. With excellent knowledge of the Aegean, Ionian and Mediterranean waters, he can be relied on to recommend the right place for the right occasion, from cosmopolitan full-service beach clubs on popular islands to deserted sandy beaches off the beaten track. His hobbies include sailing, basketball, fishing and martial arts. Captain Thanasis speaks English, is married and has two children.

    Chief Officer Stelios Andrianopoulos
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Stelios holds a Class B license and graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy. He completed the traditional Merchant Marine training, having gained his seaman’s skills from working on board various RO/RO cargo vessels and passengers ships before moving to the luxury yachting industry in 2018. Stelios was Second Officer on M/Y LADY SARYA and has recently joined M/Y ALEXANDRA. He has extensive office experience on passenger ships . He is a great team leader and works well under pressure. When Stelios is not at sea, he loves travelling and sports . He speaks English fluently .

    Chief Engineer Lampros Georgousis
    Nationality: Greek

    Labros is a graduate of the Merchant Academy and holds the highest level Class A Engineering Diploma. He started his career on board commercial ships and cruise ships for 16 years before deciding to pursue the luxury marine industry . He holds certificates in SSO, life saving and firefighting, including V1-2 and V3. He joined Alexandra 5 years ago working his way up from 2nd engineer to chief engineer. Labros is responsible for service and maintenance oversight of the main engines, generators and all mechanical – electrical systems. He is married with two children . He speaks English and Greek . In his free time, Labros likes travelling and sports.

    2nd Engineer : Pallis Nektarios
    Nationality: Greek

    Nektarios is a graduate of the Merchant Academy and holds a Class B Engineering diploma. He started his career on board commercial ships and cruise ships for 11 years before deciding to pursue the luxury marine industry. He joined Alexandra a year ago and is happy to be a part of the team! Nektarios also has certificates in Ro/Ro & Passenger Ship Safety, Life Saving and Fire Fighting. He is married with one child and speaks English and Greek. In his free time Nektarios likes travelling , going to the cinema and sports .

    Chef – Nikos Lavdas
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Nikos has been a chef for the last 22 years on board luxury yachts, high end restaurants and 5-star hotels in Greece and abroad . He holds a culinary certificate . He has also attended decoration and carving seminars . Niko’s rich experience enables him to accommodate special dietary restrictions, nutrition requirements and last minute requests. He is always up for preparing dishes with fresh fish just caught by the resident fisherman on each island and creating a gourmet meal for his guests! He is married with two children . He speaks Greek and English fluently and Arabic at beginner level . In his spare time, Niko likes travelling and music.

    Chief Stewardess Pepi Pontikakou
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Pepi was born in 1976. She speaks English and Greek fluently. She holds a diploma in the management of yacht services and leadership and has attended many seminars including mixology and cigars at the Crew Academy in France , wine and spirits ( WSET ) . She is considered a “hospitality professional” ,originally gaining her experience when she decided to join the yachting industry with her first charter 16 years ago . Since then she has been really thrilled working as a stewardess and chief stewardess in Greece and France as well . Pepi has a friendly personality and is always determined to provide high quality service . In her free time she loves reading and travelling . She has one child .

    2nd Stewardess : Psaroudaki Karasko Lydia
    Nationality: Greek

    Lydia joined the yachting industry in 2015 . She is 28 years old . She is a professional hard working person with excellent communications skills . Lydia holds a strategic thinking and modern management certification . She speaks Greek , English and Spanish fluently . During her free time enjoys dancing , DIY handmade decorations, travelling , basketball and yoga .

    3rd Stewardess Maria Bizou
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Maria joined the yachting industry in 2015 and has gained extensive experience working on a variety of charter yachts. Maria decided to take a small break from yachting to pursue work ashore however it wasn’t long before life at sea lured her back. Maria is 28 years old and always happy to take on more responsibilities and can offer a helpful hand in the galley when required. Maria speaks English and Greek. In her spare time she likes to play basketball, go to the cinema and practice martial arts.

    Giannis has been working on board private and charter yachts since 1990 . He has been assisting with ship-board operations involving maintenance , tender & toys management , line handling , anchoring , moorings and general deck care for the last 32 years . He has a very pleasant personality . Giannis is married with two children .

    Deckhand Kostas Kafetzopoulos
    Nationality: Hellenic

    Kostas joined the yachting industry in 2010 . He holds a classic professional license . He has experience on both busy charter and private yachts , cruising all over the Mediterranean . He loves that his job enables him to pursue two of his hobbies, travelling and watersports! He speaks Greek and English fluently .

    Deckhand : Velentzas Kostas
    Nationality: Greek

    Kostas started working at sea in 2017 . He holds a skipper Class C license and a speedboat license. Kostas has over 5 years of experience on board various yachts and joined M/Y ALEXANDRA this year . Kostas has a wealth of experience and is a very valuable part of the team! He speaks English and Greek and is married with two children . In his free time, Kostas likes travelling , swimming and sports.
